Password Protect Any Folder Without Any Software

In my previous post i have teach you to hide files behind images. In this tutorial i will show you interesting and usefull trick to password protect folder without using any software using batch file programming. This trick will work on all windows platform (Win XP, Win 7). Follow below tutorial to learn this trick.

How To Lock Folder ?

   1. Open Notepad and Copy code given below into it.

   2. Save the notepad file as lock.bat (.bat is must)

   3. Now double click on lock.bat and a new folder will be created with name MyFolder

   4. Copy all your data you want to protect in that New folder

   5. Now double click on lock.bat and when command promp appears Type Y and press enter.

   6. Now MyFolder will be hidden from you view, to access that folde double click on lock.bat

   7. It will ask for password enter your password and done. (Default password is codemakerz)

• To change the password replace codemakerz with  new password in the above code

How To Further Secure ?

You might be thinking that anyone can access the password by opening that lock.bat file in Notepad or any other text editor. To make it more secure hide lock.bat in some secure location after following the above tutorial To access the secured file double click on lock.bat. I would suggest copying lock.bat file into Pendrive and copying it into your computer whenever you required to access to your protected files.

STEP 1 :- Download Eset smart security or Eset Nod32 antivirus full version.

STEP 2 :- Then go to any of the sites given below and try latest eset username and password. If first one is not work then try other and try 4 to 5 times and you when you find the right username and password click on update.

Note: when you try eset username and password disable eset antivirus for 10 minutes. 

Again Note: when more than ten user use the same license eset will block the license but don't worry the given sites update regularly and provide latest username and password.

STEP 1:-

DOWNLOAD IDM (5mb) from here.

STEP 2:-

When you click on registration, Now a new dialog appears that is asking for Name, Last Name, Email Address and Serial Key. 

STEP 3:-

Now Enter you name, last name, email address and in field of Serial Key enter any of the following Keys:

And click on ok to register.

STEP 4:-

Now after you click ok, it will show an error message that you have registered IDM using fake serial key and IDM will exit.

STEP 5:-

Now Go to START --}} Then go to RUN  and type the following text and click enter:

notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

For Windows 7 users, due to security reasons you will not be able to save hosts file.
The trick is below: 
First of all go to C:/ drive then go to Windows Folder and then go to System32 folder and then go to Drivers folder and then go to Etc Folder, in the Etc folder you will see the hosts file.

Now right click on hosts file and go to its properties, then go to security tab and then select your admin account, just below u will see an edit button (in front of change permissions), Now give the user full control and write and read rights and then click on apply and then click on Ok, now u will be able to edit the hosts file and save changes in it.

STEP 6:- 

Now a notepad file appears something like this as shown below:

Now copy the below lines of code and add to hosts file as shown above:

After adding these piece of code, save the notepad file. And exit from there.

Now start your Internet download manager, and now you IDM has been converted to full version.

If you want to update IDM then You have to Open Notepad file from STEP 5 process and delete the code that you have pasted and then Update and repeat the all process again then your IDM will be full version again after update
